The UN's Brigada Gracias Causa initiative, launched in March, aims to foster social actions by Venezuelans to benefit the Peruvian community. During the event, 400 volunteers collected over a ton of waste. The activity served as a gesture of gratitude from Venezuelan migrants to Peru, which has welcomed over 850,000 Venezuelans in recent years due to Venezuela's political and economic crisis.
