VOICED : Bolivia negocia fin de huelga en Potosi

After 20 days of strike and a failed negotiation attempt, government delegations resumed talks with Potosí civil leaders. They demand the government fulfill promises to build an international airport and a cement factory, which ministers now deem economically unfeasible. Following failed negotiations, miners protested by detonating dynamite in a government office and causing damage elsewhere. A similar protest occurred in 2010, resolved with investment promises, most of which Potosí leaders claim were unmet. The government, however, asserts that 95% of demands were addressed.
