A giraffe calf was born with a front limb bending the wrong way, which could hinder its ability to nurse and walk. Experts fitted the calf with a leg brace, and after 10 days, it made a full recovery. During the process, a staff member formed an emotional bond with the calf. The calf was reintroduced to its habitat, where another female giraffe adopted it.
