New York City's Empire State Building in 1950s

The Empire State Building, located on Manhattan Island at 5th Ave and 34th St, stands 1772 feet tall, making it the tallest building in the world. Completed on May 1st, 1931, from the plans of Shreve Lamb and Harmon, it features 102 stories, 74 elevators, and can accommodate 25,000 plants. It is built on the site of the former Waldorf Astoria hotel.
