The bomber bypassed one security checkpoint by claiming to transport a patient but was identified at another and detonated the bomb. Four suspects were arrested. Hospitals were overwhelmed, forcing some to place mattresses on the floor. This was the second Taliban-claimed attack in a week, following a deadly car bombing in May.
