VOICED : Funeral y protesta por periodista asesinado en México, el 9° en el año

Mexican journalists protested in Culiacán after the murder of Luis Enrique Ramírez, the ninth journalist killed in Mexico in 2022. Ramírez's body was found outside Culiacán after being reported missing. He was a columnist for El Debate and founded Fuentes Fidedignas. His last article described an incident where he was insulted by an unidentified man. Organizations like Reporters Without Borders and Article 19 urged authorities to solve the murder, while the Mexican government promised no impunity. Mexico remains one of the most dangerous countries for journalists, with around 150 killed since 2000.
