Johnson & Johnson Begins Phase 3 COVID-19 Vaccine Trials

Johnson & Johnson is starting a 60,000-person clinical trial for a COVID-19 vaccine across three continents. The vaccine, modeled after an Ebola vaccine, uses different technology and requires only one dose. It could be available for emergency use in early 2021, making it the fourth potential COVID-19 vaccine in late-stage testing in the US.
