Colombia, through its Foreign Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo, has expressed strong opposition to any military intervention in Venezuela, emphasizing a commitment to political and diplomatic solutions. President Iván Duque has also rejected the idea of foreign military operations in Venezuela, despite discussions at the UN Assembly where U.S. President Donald Trump labeled the situation in Venezuela as a disaster and did not rule out military options. Several regional leaders have also opposed the idea of military intervention.
