Around 600 Mexicans participated in the 'hugs not walls' event, with only three minutes to meet their families. The US hosts about 11 million undocumented immigrants, mostly Mexicans seeking work to support their families. While some have legalized their status, many fear leaving the US and losing their rights. Meanwhile, their families face significant challenges in obtaining visas to visit them.
