VOICED : Ser madre en las FARC: de la guerra a la paz

José Leidy Ramírez spent much of her life in the FARC guerrilla group. She had a child she couldn't raise due to her involvement in the guerrilla. Now, as she prepares to disarm, she is unexpectedly pregnant again. She is concerned about the stability of the peace agreement signed last November after decades of conflict. Ramírez plans to have her baby in a disarmament zone, one of 26 in the country where the guerrilla must hand over their weapons by the end of May to become a political movement. The FARC has experienced a baby boom with many births since the peace talks began in 2012.
