What is a force?

• Force is a push or a pull, and is a vector quantity because it has magnitude and direction.

• Force is a push or a pull, and is a scalar quantity because it only has magnitude.

What is a balanced force?

• A balanced force is an equal push or pull, and balanced forces cancel each other out.

• Balanced forces are an equal push or pull and don't cancel each other out.

What is an unbalanced force?

• when there are equal forces on each side

• when there is a greater force on one side than the other

What is inertia?

• If an object is moving, it wants to keep moving. If an object is at rest, it wants to stay at rest.

• An object wants to change. 

In space, with no forces of gravity or other forces acting on the wheel, how long will the wheel spin?

• Until it gets tired.

• Forever. With nothing to stop it, it will just keep spinning until it comes into contact with another force.
