Tardies must be recorded at the beginning of the period in Infinite Campus. 

Tardies are recorded in Infinite Campus.

Students will use their lockers, get drinks, and use the restroom between classes.

Students will be marked "unprepared" if they are not in their seat with materials when the bell rings.

Teachers will provide common passes for the restroom and nurse. Teachers will call or email the counselor to check availability before sending the student down.

Only one student will be allowed out of the classroom at a time for "discretionary" reasons (such as using the restroom).

Students can have one earbud in (as long as they are listening to the teacher with their other ear and not disrupting classmates). 

During class, students can get drinks or retrieve materials from their locker (as long as they are not disruptive in the hallway). 

"Preparedness" can look different for different flex teams, PLC's, and/or individual teachers. 

If a student has been prompted to put their cell phone away and then they have it out again, it is to be confiscated by the teacher.

To leave the classroom, students must:
have their ID visible
sign out upon leaving
sign in upon their return

While profanity is never appropriate in the classroom, it is okay for students to use profanity in their personal conversations in the hallway (as long as they don't shout it). 

If a student has their cell phone out multiple times, the teacher is to record a "minor" in Google Forms. If many "minor" violations occur, staff will develop a plan (i.e., a Tier 2 plan). 

It is okay for students to listen to music while they work (as long as they put it away if the teacher asks them to). 

Students can have their chromebooks open at the beginning of class (as long as they close them if instructed to). 

Flex teams can establish their own additional data-tracking and archiving methods (as long as absences / tardies are recorded in Infinite Campus and minors are recorded in Google Forms).

Students may not use the restroom during class.

Flex teams will review sign out sheets at their weekly meeting to identify issues and develop a plan.

Cell phones can be on the desktop as long as they are not being used during class time.
