This is the hierarchy for Bloom's Taxonomy

The first level, Remember, recalls basic facts about a situation

The next level - Understand, requires you to simply go another level deeper in your thinking, and to develop a deeper thought about a given situation

When you use the information gained in a new situation, you are applying

When one analyzes, one breaks down what they have seen and draws connections among the various ideas

Based upon what you have learned from a given situation, you can make something new from it, therefore moving to the highest level of Bloom's  - create

When you evaluate, you are making a judgement about the given situation, based upon your previous analysis

The main character in the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears is Goldilocks 

One day, Goldie decided to venture into the woods on her own

This probably wasn't the smartest move on her part.  She had learned about "stranger danger" since kindergarten, and might have been a good idea to have taken her older brother with her

After all, she can't forget all the drama her older sister had through social media when she had ventured into the woods a few years ago; "but I'm Goldilocks," she declared. "I can survive anything!"

So off she went.  After all, today was her 12th birthday, and she wanted to show the world that she could make new adventures all on her own!

She took her basket with her.  (What was she thinking??)

Not far into her new adventure, she stumbles upon a house.  "When did this get here?" she asks. "After all, I thought this entire forest was protected by the government reforestation program, and no one could build here."

So...her curiosity gets the better of her, and she decides to venture in

Once inside, she finds three bowls.  One had leftover Domino's pizza from the night before, another had leftover fruit loops from this morning's breakfast and the other contained humus and brussel sprouts from someone in the house being on a health kick.  "Which one should I choose?" she asked herself.

Goldie decides to sit down to eat the pizza, but must choose from 3 seats.  The first, a stool "was too hard".  The second, a bean bag chair, was "too soft".  The third, a Lazy Boy recliner, was "just right"

After Goldilocks chowed down on the leftover pizza (it was her favorite after all - double cheese & pepperoni) she had to lay down and rest from her long journey.  Looking into the other room that had just been remodeled because the owners were looking to flip this crib, she discovered 3 beds.  After a lot of deliberation, she chose the middle bed.

"This Sealy Posturepedic is too hard," Goldie said to herself.  She laid down on the discounted mattress on the in the middle because it had a 'My Pillow'.  "This one is too soft".  Finally, she tried the new Sleep Number bed on the end.  "Ahh, just right", she said as she fell of into a deep sleep. 

She had time to rest.  The bears had left their bowls and went out to eat at Taco Bell.  They decided to cash in their bonus points earned from their VISA credit card for a nice dinner out, 'Living Mas' rather than save those points for the upcoming Christmas 

The bears returned from Taco Bell, surprised to find Goldilocks snoozing in the brand new Sleep Number bed.  "What is this?"  Pappa Bear asked her.  "You get out of here now!" he exclaimed. "After all, my bear neighbor down the lane is with the state police, and he'll lock you up so fact, it will make your head spin!  And you changed the number on my sleep number bed!" 

She thought he was kidding, but when Papa Bear reached for his iPhone 8 to call the state trooper down the lane, she hustled out FAST! "And don't ever come back," Papa exclaimed.  "We have this house listed for sale with a realtor, and she is supposed to show our house in a half hour.  You've made a mess here!"
