I can’t believe Jeannette got a spot on the cheer team! She’s not even pretty and her boyfriend looks like Mr. Bean. I deserved that spot on that team!

I jumped up and down, spinning a few times, stopping only to catch my breath and clear the dizziness. It was finally happening: my passport arrived, meaning I was this much closer to finally taking a trip to another country. Heart racing, I began to go through a list of countries in my head, but they all seemed too cool to settle on just one. I’d just have to visit them all!

What’s the point of studying? I know I’m just going to fail again, so why try? Every year, I put forth my best efforts in school and change my study habits, yet I always fail. There’s no point in trying anymore.

We must save our planet because of our waste; the coral reef is dying. If it dies, our oxygen will decline. We have to stop using plastic and beaching our coral. From the chemicals we release into the ocean to the sunscreen we use and go into the water. We have to do something before it’s too late.

How can I keep living like this? It’s just utterly unfair. My mother just told me that not only am I in charge of doing the dishes, laundry, garbage, and cleaning, but am also in charge of cooking dinner! I’m forced to do it all while my siblings just get to sit around all night doing nothing! I cannot believe this. I’m so mad I could scream.

I know that you are angry, but I come to you with good intentions. I come bearing a gift that I hope you will accept as a symbol of peace. I didn't mean to hurt you, and when I found out that I did, I was devastated. I hope you can forgive me.

What was I doing yesterday? Oh, I did some stuff with friends. Nothing really, just stuff. We messed around. It was sort of fun. I don’t remember exactly who was there. No, I don’t think he was.

I really want to go out with my friends because I know that I will have a good time. But...I could use a night at home to just chill and bake some cookies. It would be fun to dress up and have a girls night out. But, I could write out a healthy meal plan for the weak instead. Should I go out or stay home?
