Indian society has traditionally been heavily based around a caste system, which places
stringent restrictions on social mobility and the ease with which people considered to belong to a particular caste can interact with members of other castes. However, in modern India in a business context, and certainly within leading Indian and international companies, caste-related identification is no longer the norm. Over the last 50-60 years the Indian legislature has increasingly passed laws to reinforce the more modern outlook and to promote and support social welfare.
Family values are a hugely important part of Indian life. Arranged marriages are very
common, and marriage as a concept is taken very seriously, leading to an extremely low
divorce rate. It is normal to see large, patriarchal families spanning many generations. A lot of smaller businesses are likely to be family-run and owned, and there will be a preference for employing other family members where possible

Home Theaters aren’t just for movie moguls anymore. With a big-screen television, DVD player and surround sound-system, you can live like you’re one of the rap stars on “MTV Cribs”. But you don’t need to take out a second mortgage to get the cinematic experience. There are packages to fit every budget.
Television is the heart of your system. The bigger the TV is better, but don’t empty your pockets while overwhelming the room with a TV that is just too large. Generally, for a 10-foot-by-10 foot room, a 27-inch screen is fine; if you watch a lot of movies on DVD, you should consider a widescreen set. A high quality DVD player is also important. Look for one that uses “progressive scanning”, which displays a sharper image on TVs that support it.
According to the reading, what is the most important part of a home theater?
Television
MTV Cribs
A 10-foot-by-10-footroom

Pink Beach
Pink Beach or Pantai Merah Muda is one of the beaches in Komodo Island, East Nusa Tenggara. The beach is called Pink Beach because the sand beach is pink. The pink color of its beach is a mixture of white sand beach colors mixed with crushed coral, shells, calcium carbonate from marine invertebrates that are very small, and also Foraminifera, microscopic amoeba that has a red body shell.

My House is divided into two floors. On downstairs, I have all the important parts of the house such as the kitchen, bathrooms, storage room and parking garage. On upstairs I have one room where I keep the washer and dryer and one big terrace.
Downstairs, the floor is divided in eight rooms, four of them are bedrooms, other two are bathrooms and then one kitchen and one dining room.
In my bedroom, I have a lot of things inside, such as a television, a playstation 3, and many trophies. In my sister's bedroom, there is a computer and in the other two bedrooms are for my parent and my other sister.
Normally we eat in everywhere we want, but on Sunday we eat together in the dining room. I really love my house, the place where we could share everything together.

Lazy Day
Last weekend I spent all day laying on my bed. It was just like the Lazy Song by Bruno Mars, “Today I don’t feel like doing anything”. But sometimes doing nothing was just something that we needed the most, especially after a long and exhausted week in the office.
It was Sunday and I woke up at 9 a.m in the morning. I looked around me and I saw a new comic book that I just bought yesterday laying next to my laptop. I tried to drag it closer to me by using my foot, and then I picked it with my hand. I unwrapped the comic and started reading it. When I just reached the middle of the story, I felt thirsty so I got up of my super comfortable bed and walked out the room. I walked down the stairs right to the kitchen.
I opened the fridge and I found a bottle full of chill orange juice. I opened the bottle and poured the orange juice into a glass. When I checked my fridge, I saw that I still had a leftover Pizza from yesterday, so I decided to reheat it in my microwave. So I sat in the kitchen for a while waiting the Pizza to be ready. When the timer of the microwave was off, I picked the Pizza up and put it on my plate. I took my orange juice and my Pizza and brought them back into my lair. I enjoyed the Pizza and the orange juice and continued to read my comic book. After that I decided to watch my favorite K-drama on my laptop, so I set my portable laptop desk on my bed. This way, I could watch my favourite show without having to leave my super cozy bed.

I really enjoyed my holiday in Australia. Last Sunday I visited a marine park called Sea World which was at surfers’ Paradise near Brisbane. It’s Australia’s largest marine park and I had a wonderful day there.
The first thing I saw was the Oceanorium where you could watch all sorts of sea fish and animal under water. There were huge turtles, sharks, and a beautiful tropical sea fish. The most exciting thing was watching a man feeding the sharks. He wore a special diving suit. Then I watched the performance of sea animals. The saw was in a big outdoor swimming pool. There were killer whales, dolphins and sea lions, and they did all sort of fantastic things in the water. One of the girls in the show rode around the pool on the back of killing whale, and another girl rode underwater on the back of a big turtle. After the saw I had lunch. There were several big restaurants in the park and I had lunch in a restaurant that was shape like a ship! Then I watched a wonderful water skiing show which was held on a lake.
There were lots of other things to do at the park. There was lake cruising, a train ride, a big water slide, swimming pools, and an incredible roller coaster called the ‘corkscrew’- because it went three loops upside down. But I wish I had gone on the roller coaster ride before lunch rather than after it!

Once upon a time there was a farmer who owned a little dog that he keeps constantly by his side and a donkey, which lived in a warm stable and got plenty of fresh grain and sweet hay. But, unfortunately the donkey was not satisfied with his condition.
"I slave all day long, hauling wood or pulling the cart to market while the dog sleeps on the master's lap and eats from his plate!," the donkey grumbled. "Perhaps, he thought, if he behaved like the dog, his master would reward him with the same life of ease.
That very night, the donkey crept out of the stable and into the house where the farmer sat at supper. "First I'll frisk about and chase my tail, just as the dog does," thought the donkey. And he danced about the room, flinging up his hooves until the table toppled over and dishes went flying.
"Now I'll sit on his lap!" said the donkey, and he put his hooves up on the master's chair.
"Help! Save me from this mad beast!" the terrified farmer bellowed. Then his servants came running and, with shouts and blows, drove the donkey back to the stable.

Dear Indah,
Indah, sorry I haven’t written to you for so long. We moved into a new apartment last month and we’ve been really busy getting settled.
It’s a nice apartment. It is bigger than our old one. It’s big so there are a lot of rooms to work in. It has a big living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Another thing I like is the kitchen.
The apartment is on a quiet street in a good neighborhood. There’s also a shopping centre just down the street with a supermarket, some quite good restaurants and some stores.
We really enjoy living here. Do come over and have a look next time you are in the town. I’ll wait.

Dear Ivan,
How are you? Hope everything is okay with you. I’m all right here.
We are going to have the national examination, aren’t we? Are you well prepared for it? Well, to be honest, I just have some difficulties in preparing for it, especially in science. There are extra lessons in my school and I take them all. But, I feel that they don’t help. I’m still confused in solving mathematic problems. I’m just worried that I fail the national examination. Do you have any suggestion for me? I really appreciate your help.
I look forward to hearing from you.
