I'm writing a biographical novel about my amazing 100-year-old mother, Maria, who was born in Ecuador near tropical beaches then married my father, a US State Department foreign service officer, and traveled the world giving birth to four boys, I'm the oldest, each born in a different capital of the world: Tehran, Washington DC, Tokyo and Lima. I would visit her every weekend to take notes on her amazing life. The pandemic has given me time to put the notes and her story together.For now, with the pandemic, I get to spend "Happy Hour" with my four children, Jennifer in Winnie, TX; Lindsey, in Durham NC; Matt in Washington DC, on an app called HouseParty...including my ex-wife, Donna, who is "Mom" who lives on Signal Mountain TN (she recently lost her husband, John) and we all have an uproarious time.
