When we have to add -er (Comparative) and -est (Superlative), it is corret to say that:

I. In one-syllable adjectives finishing in consonant-vowel-consonant, we have to double the last consonant before adding the termination.

II. We have to use "more" and "the most" before the adjective.

III. If the adjective finishes in "y" we have to remove the "y"

and add "i" before the termination.

IV. We just have to add the termination to

most two-or more- syllabe adjectives.

We always have to use "than" when we're comparing. Excepet when the comparison is in context.

Eg.:

Sam: Girl, I hate Math. It's too difficult.

Sylvie: I get you, sis. But Physics is way harder.

We don't necessarily have to use "the" before the adjective when we're using the superlative. It's optional. Like:
