Hi Janet,
As you know I’m at a camp in the middle of a forest. It’s great but there is no wi-fi at the camp site and my mobile got damaged. I’ve just cycled to a nearby town and found an internet café to write to you. I didn’t have time to contact our landlord before I left and we need to tell him about of a couple of problems.
I suppose that the priority is the washing machine. It isn’t working properly despite a plumber coming in to fix it. With five people in the flat, it’s bit unreasonable to expect us to carry everything down three flights of stairs to the nearest dry cleaner’s. Then there’s the oven which still isn’t working properly.
Our landlord really should do something about it before the holiday is over so could you call him and let him know about it?
