Chastity must be observed in all status of life. Every person, whether married or single, is called to live a chaste life. The preceding statement speaks of 

Chastity is a deep respect and admiration for the person and  for the gifts of our sexuality and sex. Chastity, according to St. John Paul II,  is the readiness to affirm and love the person in every situation.

The main proponent for the development of centers for the promotion of Natural Family Planning and its related services was Pope Paul VI.  

Respecting the dignity of human life from the moment of conception is the first duty of responsible parenthood. Hence a child is always a [x] to be received and welcomed, not a [z] to be avoided.
