Merging combines cells, centering aligns content

Merging changes font size, centering changes font color

Right-click on the cells and choose 'Currency Format'

Type 'Currency' in the formula bar for the selected cells

Select the range of cells, then go to the 'Number' group on the 'Home' tab, click on the drop-down arrow next to the 'Number Format' box, and select 'Currency' from the list.

Select the row below and the column to the right of the rows and columns that you want to keep visible, then go to the View tab and click on Freeze Panes.

Right-click on the cell and select Freeze Panes

Go to the Insert tab and choose Freeze Panes

Select the entire sheet and click Freeze Panes
