Swiss Chicken Cutlets

Ingredients:

5 Chicken Cutlets

1 Egg, beaten

1 Cup bread crumbs

1/4 Cup oil

1/4 Cup Flour

1/8 TSP pepper

3 TBSP butter or margarine

1 TSP salt

2 1/3 Cups milk

1 cup ( 8 ounces ) shredded Swiss cheese

Steps :

1. 1. Pound chicken cutlets with mallet. Sprinkle the chicken cutlets with salt and dip in the beaten egg.

2. 2. Cover the chicken cutlets with bread crumbs. In a frying pan or skillet. brown the breaded chicken cutlets. Set aside

3. 3. In a skillet, melt butter and blend in flour, salt, pepper, and milk. Cook the mixture until thickened. Remove the mixture from heat. Pour half the mixture into a baking pan.

4. 4. Arrange the chicken cutlets on top. Then, pour the remaining mixture over the chicken cutlets.

5. 5. Sprinkle the Swiss cheese on top. Bake in the oven at 350^o F for 50 minutes.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE SWISS CHICKEN CUTLETS IF WE BAKE THEM FOR ONE HALF HOUR ?
