The Acadians settlers of Nova Scotia in Canada were considered a large threat to the British.
In the area where they settled, we saw a battle back and forth over the areas concerned in the fur trade and fertile farmlands. While the British and French went back and forth over the rights to the land, the Acadians continued to farm, commune with the Miqmak' tribesmen and live in peace.
The Acadians had little to no contact with France, not receiving much aside from a message or 2 via a Scotsman but basically, there were on their own in Canada, New France, and doing very well, all things considered. The British had forces on the ground, the Acadians did not fight/like to go to war. These were very simple peasant farmers, happy to be stewards of their land and be with their families.
The British struck without permission OR warning, ambushing the people of Acadia and brutalizing them. It was only in 2013 that the British crown formally apologized and admitted to the ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Acadian people, only the 6th apology in 1200 years of the crown.
In your own words, why did the British believe the Acadian settlers to be a threat?

Historically, we know that PAIN, bread, is incredibly important in France, so much so that superstitions arise over how one lays down a baguette, the recipe, length and taste are federally mandated. Many common phrases revolve around food and bread especially, even the word for friend, which is "copain". Literally meaning someone with whom you share your bread!
Given the prior statement, in French what is the shop that is the most important to MOST French people? When people move in France, its always the shop they look up first and check the distance to their home or work. Write IN French WITH a definite article.

As you may know, restrooms in many parts of the world including France are different. Many public places like cafes, restaurants etc., offer a one gender or unisex bathroom. Since establishments are much smaller in general, sometimes only one toilet is available. Yes, men and women use the same restroom and toilet.
However in America, people use separate facilities fairly strictly, even currently debating who can use which restroom. In many other parts of the world, this is a non issue.
In a n American home, all facilities are typically in the same room; toilet, tub or shower, sink and countertop. Due to the way and time that plumbing was added to homes abroad, many have simply a "closet" with a toilet and a sink, usually small. Other facilities are in a separate room, so we use 2 terms for a restroom in France. One word encompasses the washer/dryer, sink, shower, etc and the other is for the toilet only.
In public, which room should you ask to use:
La salle de bain or la toilette?
