Inhibit cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and/or COX-2), Decrease prostaglandin synthesis → ↓ inflammation, pain, fever

Assess pain level and inflammation before and after administration, Monitor GI status (bleeding, ulcer symptoms), Monitor renal function (BUN, creatinine), Assess for bleeding risk, Administer with food or milk
