Digital Learning Icons 101

Zoom

Zoom is the app we use for our classes. Zoom meetings will be our live classes.

Schoology

Schoology is our Learning Management System. Schoology is where everything we do lives. It's the place where teachers put all our stuff!

Google Drive

Google Drive contains apps like docs, slides, and drawings where you can create to show what you've learned.

Clever Portal

The place where you can sign into most of your learning apps- it makes it so you don't have to remember all of your websites, usernames, and passwords.

Google Docs

Google Docs is a word processor. You can use it to write down (rather type down) your ideas, lists, stories, and other things you might write on a piece of paper.

YouTube

YouTube is online video sharing. We'll use it for watching instructional videos as well as recorded Zoom classes.

i-Ready

i-Ready is an online learning app where you'll work by yourself to learn concepts in reading and math.

Google Slides

Google Slides is a presentation app. We'll use Slides for learning new material, but we'll also use it to create presentations to show what we HAVE LEARNED!

Padlet

Padlet is an online posting board. You can write, insert pictures, and insert or record videos. 

File Folder

File folders are places to store and organize your online documents. This can include pictures, videos, docs, and other creations. Using folders helps you keep things nice and neat on your computer and in your Google Drive.

Google Drawings

Google Drawings is a diagramming app. Use it to create flowcharts, organizational charts, mind maps, concept maps, and other types of diagrams. Google Drawings is my favorite!

PDF

PDF, often Adobe PDF, is an app used to show documents.
