2

Commutative Property of Addition

  • The addends may switch back and forth

  • Example: 3+2=5 2+3=5

  • Example: 3+2=2+3

3

Identity Property of Addition

  • When you add 0 to a number, the number will remain the same.

  • Example: 3+0=3
