13
Example of weighing paragraph
In my opinion, practising meritocracy is a more important factor than anticipating change and stay relevant when it comes to ensuring Singapore's economic growth. This is because by practising meritocracy, it sets a foundation of trust between the people and the government, as Singaporeans know that they will be fairly rewarded as long as they work hard and there is no discrimination based on one's background. With a foundation of trust, it will be easier for the government to implement policies and plans for the nation as they have the support of the people.
