The top branches and leaves of the trees in a forest.

Coniferous or Deciduous
A tree which bears cones and has needles or scale-like leaves is a CONIFER, trees and plants which lose their leaves annually every autumn are DECIDUOUS.

Decomposer, Producer, or Consumer
How do organisms receive their nutrients? If they produce their own starches- they are PRODUCERS. If they EAT other organisms (plants or other animals) they are CONSUMERS. If they receive their nutrients via dead organisms- they are DECOMPOSERS!

An area of living and non-living components which form an environment.
