• Identify apparent relationships between corresponding terms.
• Form ordered pairs consisting of corresponding term from the two patterns.

Describe the pattern - You will need paper and pencil!!!

Today, both Sam and Terri have no fish. They both go fishing each day. Sam catches 2 fish each day. Terri catches 4 fish each day. How many fish do they have after each of the five days.

Step 1 - Analyze the information we were given

• Today, both Sam and Terri have no fish. "What does this mean?")

• They both go fishing each day. (This means that they go fishing everyday.)

• Sam catches 2 fish each day.

• Terri catches 4 fish each day.
