Amanda has 2 apples for every 3 oranges...
5
Question: If Amanda has 6 oranges, how many apples does she have?
6
SOLVE
Step 1:
I know that 3X2= 6, so I put a 2 in each of the three boxes next to oranges
Step 2:
Since all the boxes have the same number, I know that the two boxes next to apples also have "2" in them.
Step 3. Multiply 2X2 to get 4
