2

Condensation

is the change in phase of matter from gas to liquid.

You can observe the results of condensation with the water droplets formed on the surface of your cold juice or tea.

3

Freezing

is the change in phase of matter from liquid to solid.

An example of this phase change is liquid water turning to ice (solid).

4

Sublimation

is the change in phase of matter from solid to gas. This process does not require the material to enter the liquid phase.

Aside from phase changes, other examples of physical changes are cutting, shredding, and mixing. They change the shape of the materials but not their composition.
