Comparative and Superlative adjectives

Comparative adjectives

Use comparative adjectives in order to compare two things, animals, or people.

Superlative adjectives

Use superlative adjectives in order to say that a thing, an animal, or a person is the most of a group.

Example:

• iPhones are the least expensive smartphones.

The Equative

Use the equative in order to say that a thing, an animal, or a person is similar to another one.

Example:

• Rachel is as intelligent as Sue.

• Samsung smartphones are as expensive as iPhones.
