IMAGINARY SITUATIONS
You already know that we can talk about hypothetical situations when we use the connector "even if".
We also talk about it when we use second conditional.
for example:
I would visit USA if I had more money.

When we use this structure, we have to remember two key elements:
IN THE IF CLAUSE
"IF and VERBS IN PAST"
IN THE MAIN CLAUSE
"WOULD"
