Concrete Nouns

A concrete noun is word that names a person, place, or thing. A concrete noun identifies someone or something that can be seen, heard, smelled, touched, or tasted.


Ex. Actor (person), Park (Place), Computer (Thing)


Example: The apple tree produces many fresh apples.

An abstract word is a word that names an idea or quality that has not physical existence.


Ex. Freedom, Sadness, Imagination, Anger
