What is a "conditional"?

A piece of code that needs to check if something is true or false before it runs.

Types of Conditionals

Today we will look at 2 types of conditionals:

-IF statements and

-IF/ELSE statements

Making a Choice

An IF statement can help a program make a decision. It tells the program what to do if the statement is true. An ELSE statment tells the program what to do if the statement is false.
