The figure shown is a square with all sides equal. Write an equation that can be used to find the value of x.

Now that you know the value of x is equal to 4, use this value of x to find the length of each side.

You can use either side length's expression to do so. In this case, we know that x = 4 is the solution, but when working on your own, it is best to check BOTH expressions as a CHECK.
