When deciding if a number is even or odd, ask yourself – if you had

friend each get the SAME amount of lollipops?

If YES, then that number is EVEN.

If NO, then that number is ODD.

Here is the example of ODD numbers:

1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19

Examples of EVEN numbers:

2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20
