2

Exposition!

The exposition is the start to your story explaining/introducing...

The Characters

The Setting

It also describes how the character(s) are feeling and a problem they are having and wish they can change.

3

Rising Action!

The Rising Action is where the story inclines in action and gets a little more exciting. You start to get into the problem of the story. This is where you develop your emotions for the character(s) and hope they succeed and solve the problem.

4

Climax!

The climax is the tip top of the mountain and where things start to get a little crazy! The action is at its full capacity and your bottom's out of your seat! You are wondering what will happen next? Will this character be ok? I hope they make it! This is where the problem blows up and there is a lot of action.

5

Falling Action

The falling action is where the action dies down. There are little action parts or problems along the way, but nothing really big happens.

6

Resolution

The resolution is at the end of the story. The characters make it to where they want to be and it sometimes ends like "they lived happily ever after."

7

Thank you!🤩

Thank you for playing this lesson! I worked really hard on it and thought that it could be useful for teachers and students. As a 5th grade student at Harmony, I love Plot Mountains. It helps in so many ways to write a good, structured story. I also did this to show that you don't have to wait until you are a grown up to help in these situations. You can create things like this to help teachers teach their kids easily. Hopefully this will be used and hopefully it will help teachers teach their students about Plot Mountain!
