Procedure text is a text that explains about how to make or how to do something.

Teks prosedur adalah sebuah teks yang menjelaskan tentang cara membuat atau cara melakukan sesuatu.

• Goal (Tujuan)

• Material or ingredient (Bahan)

• Steps (Langkah-langkah)

Language features of procedure text

• Using simple present tense (Menggunakan simple present tense)

• Using action verb (Menggunakan kata kerja tindakan)

• Using imperative sentences (Menggunakan kalimat perintah)

• Using temporal conjunction (Menggunakan kata penghubung)

Example of procedure text

Goal : How to withdraw money from ATM (Cara mengambil uang di ATM)

Steps :First, insert your ATM card into the machine (Pertama masukan kartu ATM kedalam mesin)

Second, Select a language (Kedua, pilihlah sebuah bahasa)

Third, Enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) then press the enter button.

Next, select a transaction

For example, if you want to withdraw money :
