We are going to do Word Problems at the top of the page you have to write Word Problems just like in the picture on the right!

Please do not disgrace the picture our teacher Ms.Oceana has token the picture so please respect it.

The first thing is Understand your teacher should be talking to you while you write down.

• retell

• read it twice

• look up words or symbols you do not know

The second thing is Plan

• decide what operation two use

• what sequence of step

The third thing is Solve

• Solve the problem

The final thing is Check

• Does your answer make scence

• Check your answer using the opposite operation

• If it does not work then try a different plan and go back and do Steps 2 3 4
