Direct Objects

• A noun that receives the action of the verb.

• The Verb Directly affects the Direct Object

• Compound Direct Object: When you have more than one direct object that is being affected by the verb.

• Direct object: Edward added two items to my list

• Compound direct object: Edward divided the drinks and snacks between us.
