Important Information about Reflexives in the PASSÉ COMPOSÉ

• Les verbes réfléchis comme "s'amuser" "se laver" "se réunir" will always keep a reflexive pronoun in front of the conjugated or unconjugated verb. These are inseperable!

• In the passé composé this will stay the same however you will now need to form the passé composé with its helping verb which will always be "être " with reflexive verbs.

• Agreements will be made with the subject mostly. However, we need to be careful of the placement of direct objects if one exists in a sentence with a past participle.

• Place the "ne" in front of the pronoun and the other part of negation such as "pas" or "jamais" after the helping verb.

• ex. je ne me suis pas réveillé (e) à l'heure
