We will do another one together before we break into groups.

What the plan is for practice:

  • You have problems posted in your Google Classroom (small group) with directions

  • Like yesterday, solve the problems SHOWING YOUR WORK using this PARTIAL PRODUCTS (NOT AREA MODEL) method.

  • Take a picture and attach your work to the Google Assignment.

  • You have the remainder of the class period for INDEPENDENT WORK.

  • We will use BREAKOUT ROOMS TODAY. Wait for your invite to move. (Group 2 will move only - Group 1 will stay here.)

  • Ms. Cancel or Mr. O'Boyle will be with you to start, and then we switch.

FINISHED? Have you:

  • checked your answers against your estimate?

  • circled your final answer?

  • taken a photo and attached to your assignment?

  • completed all of your other work and submitted? (Test Corrections, Multiplying by 10s, 100s, 1000s work, Area Model problems from yesterday?)

  • finished all your work in your other classes? Studied your new vocabulary?

  • then you have a few minutes. WE WILL COME TOGETHER AS A WHOLE GROUP AT 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE END OF CLASS TO SUMMARIZE OUR LESSON TODAY. BE HERE AND READY TO GO.
