WHAT IS A SOLID?

PROPERTIES OF A SOLID

WHAT IS A LIQUID?

A liquid is a nearly incompressible fluid that conforms to the shape of its container but retains a (nearly) constant volume independent of pressure.

PROPERTIES OF A LIQUID

• is much slower as compared to the diffusion of gases.

LIQUID EXAMPLES:
