• Conjugate the verb to the first person singular aka yo form (hablar = hablo)

• Then, drop the o/oy ending. (hablo= habl)

• Then, add the opposite ending

• -ar verbs = e, es, e, emos, éis, en

• -er/-ir verbs= a, as, a, amos, áis, an
