• la primavera - spring

• el verano - summer

• el otoño - fall

• el invierno - winter

¿Qué son los meses para las estaciones?

• primavera - marzo, abril, y mayo

• verano - junio, julio, y agosto

• otoño - septiembre, octubre, noviembre

• invierno - diciembre, enero, febrero

El tiempo - the weather

• ¿Cuál es el tiempo hoy? - What is the weather today?

• Hace calor. - It is hot.

• Hace frío. - It is cold.

• Hace sol. - It is sunny.

• Remember - the "Hh" is always silent

  in Spanish, so "Hace" is pronounced:

  ah-say

• Hace buen tiempo. - It is good weather.

• Hace mal tiempo. - It is bad weather.

• Llueve. - It is raining.

• Está lloviendo. - It is raining (2 different ways to say this in Spanish).

  • Remember - the "ll" makes the "y" sound

• Hay niebla. - It is foggy.

• Nieva. - It is snowing.

• Está nevando. - It is snowing (2 different ways to say this in Spanish).
