When we use past simple?

We use past simple to talk about the past. We know when these things happened.

The past simple is the same for all subjets:

I/You/He/She/It/We/They played tennis yesterday.

Irregulars verbs:

Past simple negative:

To make the Past simple negative of be, we use wasn't or weren't.

To make the past simple negative of all other verbs, we use didn's + infinitive.

Didn't =did not

Infinitive:

We use didn't for all subjets
