What Are Articles?

• Articles are words that define a noun as specific or unspecific.

Article 'a'

• a is used with word starts with consonant

Article 'an'

• 'an' is used with word starts with vowel.

• 'the' is used to state the specific, and uncountable

• 'the' pula digunakan untuk menyatakan sesuatu yang spesifik dan tidak boleh dikira

• examples:

• This is an umbrella. The umbrella is colourful. (specific)

• The sugar is so sweet. (uncountable)

• The moon is really beautiful today. (specific)
