Funding Problem In Arizona

  • Arizona has eliminated early education funding in 2011.

  • This caused 1.5 billion dollars to be taken out of other grade levels resources to be able to support early education.

  • 36.6% of funding was cut out of Arizona's early education services.

Early Education Is Necessary

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten are where toddlers become students.

  • Without these grades levels children are left without any support while entering the education system.

  • Pre-K and Kindergarten teaches children, literacy, numeracy, social skills, as well as motors skills.

  • By entering children into early education this will give them everything they will need to have a successful future.

How to Help

  • By entering your children into Pre-K this will give them many of the basic resources they will need.

  • This will help figuring out children's abilities and disabilities before heading into Kindergarten.

  • When schools know about the new coming students needs it will help make appropriate funding decisions before the school year starts.
