Conflict in a Christmas Carol

  • On his journeys with the ghosts, Scrooge is faced with both pathetic and delightful visions.  As he struggles with new emotions and ideas, Scrooge time and again must face challenging conflicts. 


  • Conflicts are struggles between opposing forces.  Conflict helps intensify the action of the story and create interest and suspense for the reader.
