Letter had an immediate effect:
1. 32 men arrived from Gonzales March 1, 1836

4. Then New York City (NYC)

Though the Alamo fell on March 6, many Americans were persuaded and pumped up to join Texas' cause.
A lot of American's joined the army Sam Houston led for the Battle of San Jacinto.
